Founded in 1984 by James Clair, Mécanique J. Clair quickly established itself as a successful business on the Côte-de-Beaupré. With the support of his wife, Nathalie Renaud, James built a company recognized for its professionalism and personalized service. Today, he is proudly preparing the next generation by passing the torch to his children: Stanly Clair, Head Mechanic, and Stacy Clair, General Manager. With a team of over 40 employees, the company is an authorized dealer for SANY and PistenBully. United by shared values, the Clair family and its team are committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service to every customer.

James Clair, Owner

After taking on the challenge of building a reputable business in 1984, hardworking entrepreneur James Clair now looks forward to passing on his legacy to his children alongside his partner. He works closely with them to ensure the company’s continued growth and long-term success.

Stanly Clair, Head mechanic

Stanly Clair, son of James Clair, joined the family business in 2012. To strengthen his father’s team, Stanly pursued his studies at Wilbrod-Bherer, earning a vocational diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanics with honors. Over the years, he has established himself within the company and now holds the position of head mechanic, where he puts his expertise, attention to detail, and experience to work to ensure the highest quality of service in the shop.

Stacy Clair, General manager

Stacy Clair joined the family business in 2014 while completing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Université Laval, specializing in management and accounting. Today, she officially leads the company as full-time General Manager at Mécanique J. Clair.

Nathalie Renaud, administrative manager

Nathalie Renaud, partner of James Clair, has held the position of administrative manager since 1990. With a vocational diploma in office administration, as well as a college certificate in finance, Nathalie has played a key role in the success and day-to-day operations of Mécanique J. Clair.
